Jesse Hernandez is an interdisciplinary photo-based Latin artist, born and raised in Los Angeles, California. His practice revolves around the manipulation and experimentation of digital photography, film, and cyanotyping. Through this, Jesse's work delves with the converging sentiments of the home and also works on addressing prominent issues happening today in the garment industry. He finds inspiration through the experiences of his immigrant parents and hopes to shed light on social inequities occurring in the Latin community in Los Angeles.
Jesse received his BFA in photography at Cal State University Long Beach. In 2025, his work has been in several exhibitions such as Present Tense Artist Talks in San Diego, Body Language and Dismembered in CSULB under the curation of the Photo Collective, Irvine Fine Arts Center, Dust Studios - Illusion, and Descanso Gardens.
Jesse lives and works in Inglewood, CA.
